You can hear some festival feelings on Yle Radio 1 21st of April and enjoy them in television on Yle Teema in January 2010. 7.4.2009 Ilona Korhonen Ensemble releasing their debut album The opening concert of JuuriJuhla 13.4.2009 in Espoo dome church is now also a record release concert. At the concert the debut album of Ilona Korhonen Ensemble ”Tarkka pää, tania mieli” is released by record label Ääniä. 6.4.2009 Polka Chicks Ensemble of the Year in Kaustinen Polka Chicks, performing at JuuriJuhla on Saturday, is Ensemble of the Year 2009 at Kaustinen Folk Music Festival. Check them out in the Tapsan tahdit competition! 27.3.2009 Hellström evening at Honkamaja The program for the Hellström evening, part of JuuriJuhla festival, has been confirmed. The performers are Emon kamut, Leikarit and Espoon pelimannit. Anders Backman, Kaj Hellström and Tapani Mäkinen will tell us about the history of the Espoo fiddler Martin Hellström. 24.3.2009 School concerts with Tsuumi Sound System Due to major demand Tsuumi Sound System will give to school concerts in the Sello Hall Tuesday 14th of April.
